Vulcan Inc.’s 260+ employees are very active in our community!
- Vulcan is a long-standing member of the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and actively support their major fundraisers such as the annual Foley Balloon Festival, Barbeque and Blues, Chicago in the Streets, and Glow Golf events.
- We have quarterly American Red Cross blood drives
- We have food drives for Ecumenical Ministries a local organization. Another funding drive recently was a Pie-In-Face contest. All employees could buy a pie, choose the lucky one and pie a Manager raising over $2600 for Ecumenical Ministries.
- Vulcan has a Fill-A-Backpack fundraiser for local elementary Schools. Each year we deliver 60+ filled backpacks to local elementary schools.
- Vulcan’s Industry Partnership with Foley High School is a program to place students into jobs after graduation. Each year we coordinate with the school for National Manufacturing Day in which we tour many students through all our business units.
- Vulcan employees are provided with two paid Serve Days for working in the community. Painting the Sheriff’s Boys Ranch, manpower for the beautification project at Graham Creek Preserve and helping the city host events are just some events as part of our Serve Days.
